Biogas at The Belfry 2026, Evening

The project

The closing half of Constructioncrew's biogas event: a black tie dinner with speakers in the Warwick Suite at The Belfry, covered multi-camera with four crew.

The brief

The evening was the formal half: black tie, dinner and speakers in the Warwick Suite, with Philipp Genschick of HoSt Bioenergy Systems and Dan McDonald of Danimak Limited among those speaking.

It had to feel like the same event as the morning despite sharing none of its light, pace or setting. A golf course at midday and a dinner under chandeliers have nothing visually in common, and two films that look unrelated undo the argument that this was one day.

What we produced

Multi-camera coverage of the speakers, so a talk could be cut properly rather than held on a single angle for its full length.

Lit to match the room rather than fight it. A black tie dinner is a dark room by design, and flooding it to make filming easier would have destroyed the thing the client paid for.

Radio microphones fitted before the speeches rather than during, which is why the audio holds up in a room of a hundred people eating.

Photography through the evening alongside the film, from the same four crew covering the whole day.

The outcome

A film that matches the golf highlight in tone while looking nothing like it, so the two sit together as one event rather than two unrelated days.

In use for brand exposure and for promoting the next event, alongside the morning film and the main story film cut from both.
